Discover traditional and academic drawing techniques, used by renowned artists throughout history. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, in this course you will improve your observational skills and develop a keen eye to perceive form and capture details.

What you will learn

  • Develop fundamental drawing skills and techniques through structured lessons and hands-on practice.

  • Study the principles of proportion and gesture to create visually compelling and balanced drawings.

  • Learn to accurately describe contours in your drawings.

  • Gain a deep understanding of values and how to effectively use light and shadow to create depth and dimension.

  • Enhance your observational skills and learn to see and interpret the human figure with a trained artist's eye.

  • Gain insights into the historical and academic foundations of drawing, learning from the techniques used by master artists.

  • Receive personalized feedback and guidance from experienced instructors to help you refine your skills and reach your artistic potential.

  • Develop a strong foundation in drawing that can be applied to various artistic disciplines, including figurative sculpture.


The drawing sessions are guided by Evan Fugazzi or Joeri Lefévre.
